THE HEYDAR ALIYEV INTERNATIONAL EDUCATION  

GRANT PROGRAMME 2024 -2025

Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland  presents its compliments  to Commonwealth Secretariat and is pleased to announce The Heydar Aliyev International Education Grant Programme (hereinafter “Scholarship”) for the students from Small Island Developing States for 2024 – 2025 academic year. This scholarship provides an excellent opportunity for selected candidates to study in the leading universities of Azerbaijan at the preparatory course, undergraduate, graduate, doctoral, general medicine/medical residency programmes.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR OBTAINING A SCHOLARSHIP

• Be citizens of Saint Lucia;

•   Citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan or individuals whose citizenship in the Republic of Azerbaijan have been terminated will not be considered for a Scholarship;
•   Age requirements for applicants shall be as follows:
  •  Undergraduate and general medicine programmes - foreign nationals over 35 years as of September 15^th, 2024
  • Graduate and medical residency programmes - foreign nationals over 40 years as of September 15^th, 2024
  • Doctoral programmes - foreign nationals over 45 years as of September 15^th, 2024.

• The deadline to apply for this scholarship is Friday, May 31, 2024
