The Saint Lucia Air and Sea Ports Authority (SLASPA) invites applications for the Aerodrome and Approach Control Diploma Programme 2026/2027.
Course Description
This course covers topics such as:
- Aerodromes
- Air Traffic Services
- Navigation
- Rules of the Air
- Telecommunications
- Meteorology
- Theory of Flight
- Practical Simulation of Aerodrome and Approach Air Traffic Control
Persons who have successfully completed the Aerodrome and Approach Control components will be eligible to complete the Area Control Programme.
Prerequisites
Applicants must meet at least nineteen (19) years of age and possess:
- Five (5) CSEC of GCE O’Level subjects, Grades I, II and III, including:
- English Language
- Mathematics
Preference will be given to applicants who have successfully completed CSEC Geography and have CAPE or GCE A’ Level qualifications or higher.
Applicants should also:
- Possess good interpersonal and communication skills
- Speak and demonstrate the ability to use the English language clearly and fluently
- Be computer literate
Administrative Requirements
Applications must possess:
- Copies of Academic Certificates
- Copies of two (2) forms of National Identification
- Copy of Birth Certificate
